The tribe also keeps a substantial herd of horses - specially bred for size, temperament and appaloosa patterns. the main breeds involved are Clydesdales, the spotted pinszgauer, appaloosa and Fresians. The culled horses and foals are often sold as live meat to other tribes. The meat is much sought after but not many others wish to keep the horses and the work it involves. So there is a neat income of the equine trade as well. A lot of the leather and crafts comes from the horses as well.

The tribe lives in housings that are extremely low tech and comfortable. Each "house" hold a matriach and her descendants - often up to 10 - 15 persons. Each Matriach is a memer of the Elder Counsil of the tribe and they make final descisions and judgements of things. However, along with them they have a Tribe Leader - the strongest and wisest Male - a duty often passed from sire to son. But if he should prove insufficient in his descisions and unwilling to cooperate the matrons can easily disown him in favour of a male that is better, wiser and stronger. But so far that has never happened.

A Family is not always like we envision it here on earth. Since it is the female lines that rule in this tribe, the female chooses whom to share her furs with - often she will settle for one particular mate to be her "special" one. However she can choose freely from the males she is in contact with throughout her life. In this tribe a male will bow to her wills and fancies in that regard. Due to the genetic makeup of this tribe a male is never allowed to leave any offspring outside the tribe. The human genom would not be accepted and a cub probably killed the instant it was born. But any of the tribe's females can happily bring in new genetic material by choosing a sire of her cub from outside.
